This is where you or you attorney choose Kathy Starling as your mediator. This mediation may be scheduled to comply with a court order but unless Kathy Starling is ordered to be the mediator you can expect to pay the private mediation fees. These fees apply whether the mediation occurs in person or via zoom.
$150 per hour or $75 per hour per side.
This is a one time, per case, fee.
11 NCAC 23G .0107(b) By Commission Order. When the mediator is appointed by the Commission, the mediator's compensation shall be as follows:
(1) The mediator shall be paid by the parties at the rate of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per hour for mediation services provided at the mediated settlement conference.
(2) The parties shall pay to the mediator a one time, per case administrative fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00).
